My.EMCOM was created specifically for members of the Emergency Management and Response community at the national, state and local levels to interface with other members of the community as well as the citizens they serve,

Whether you are part of management, one of the hero's on the street , with a relief organization or just a private citizen, you probably have knowledge and expertise that can be shared with others, and there are certainly others wanting to learn.

Public emergency personnel can interface with EMCOM Community Emergency Preparedness Coordinators in their area, and with the public they serve. Community Coordinators can interface with the neighbors they in turn serve.

Got a water main break in your city? Just post a bulletin to the TeamMates in your area to help spread the word... got special information to share with the public? Do a live SkypeCast, with "Show & Tell" via the WebCruise CastHopper...

I've spent over 35 years in the design, development and implementation of some of the world's most advanced technologies, including space systems, nuclear systems, automation and robotics, spectrographic analysis and medical systems.

I have both medical and law enforcement related experience, and was the coordinator for an 18 month long requirements analysis of the Emergency Management needs across the country at the state and local levels. That 1997-1998 project led to the design, development and implementation of the EMCOM system which went online on 9/13/2001.

Thanks Dad for making one possible. I hope to see more officers join the community soon.
